Interview for Telling: NYC 2014

Are you a veteran or family member of a veteran in the New York area? Here is your chance to tell your story as part of the acclaimed Telling Project and become part of the VAP family of artists making change across America. Sign up here to interview with Jonathan Wei and start the process of telling your unique story.  5-7 veterans and family members will ultimately be chosen to showcase their stories in Telling: NYC 2014.

The Telling Project (TP), Veteran Artist Program (VAP) and Empire State University will present one performance in an original production of Telling: NYC on November 8th or 9th at the Fashion Institute of Technology. In addition to presenting a one-of-a-kind production with local veterans and military family members, Telling participants will undergo performance training and be given the tools to activate their own community through the arts. Telling has been successful in over 15 cities across America. VAP has presented seven Telling productions with last year’s New York City production receiving acclaim in the New York Times.
